Our little bakey here in Bookville has been in business for nearly 50 years, but our story doesn't start there...
The owners, the Baker family, has been baking delicious breads and sweets for, rumor has it, centuries. Their story goes way back to the days of the Black Blague in a little town in Germany. To this day, Into-the-Forest Bakery still uses the very same sourdough starter the Bakers were using in the 14th century.
Our sourdough isn't the only thing that makes us stand out, however. We have our very own cow on premise who helps provide the dairy we use in our baked goods. Meet "Milky White:"
